We have had hard rain all night and it is continuing into today. The amazing thing is that the soil makeup really absorbs the water well. Anywhere else, we would be in a bog. We had been concerned about the possibility of getting stuck in mud but we were assured that would not be a problem. We do have some standing water but no muddy mess.
We are getting a little stir crazy. I found a couple of movies that we had not watched previously or for that matter, had even been unwrapped. We settled in to watch the second movie in the Pirates of the Caribbean movie. After a while, I got bored with the moving so I got playing games on the computer. It was a nice way to spend the evening. We are ready for some sunshine as we want to go to the beach.
