We didn't do very much today other than do some grocery shopping in between the rain. Later in the afternoon we sat outside for a while until the wind came up and it got too cold for that pleasure.
We went out for pizza and salad and were back before dark just in case we got any trick or treaters . . . none came a knocking. We suspected that would be the case but weren't 100 percent sure. We had a bag of Milky Ways on hand just in case. Guess we'll just have to eat them. Darn!
I tweaked my back yesterday so no swimming tonight but we did enjoy the hot tub for a while. More wind and rain is due in tonight and tomorrow. No real complaints though as we saw how low Lake Shasta is (never have seen it that low) and know how badly California needs the rain. All we ask is that it we get breaks in between storms.
