Yep, we are still kicking it here in Tucson. The town is starting to see tourism increase with the big Gem and Rock show going on now for the next three weeks. Vendors are saying that business has started off better than last year. Hopefully, that is a good sign for our economy.
The six of us (Bruce, Jenna, Rick, Y, John and myself) went and terrorized another RV dealer salesman LOL! This time, we checked out NuWa Discover America fifth wheels. Must say, the dealer only had four on the lot but they were a lot better built than what we remembered from 2006 or so. A couple of the floor plans were rather nice. Collectively, the three guys knew more than the salesman . . . now that is a surprise! Seems as if we have found a source of cheap entertainment.
Yesterday, we went with Rick and Y up to Casa Grande to visit friends, Lee and Connie. We had a nice visit and got right to playing Pegs and Jokers. The gals won four out of seven games. Woo hoo! The guys had beaten us so many times while in Eagle Nest so it was nice to walk away the winners. Connie had prepared spaghetti with meat sauce, garlic bread, and dessert while we supplied the salad. I must say that Connie makes killer Pecan Turtles; I was good and only ate one but savored every bite.
