We drove in to Parker to do some shopping. An hour there and an hour back pretty much shot the morning. We wanted to stop at the hardware store but they are closed on Sunday, so we then stopped at the bank to get some cash, and then a RV store to pick up some flexible vinyl moulding. We then stopped at Safeway to pick up some groceries--boy, was that crazy. We got home and I got to making the appetizer that we were taking to the Super Bowl Party. The last pan came out of the oven just a few minutes before 4 p.m. and we were off to the big party.
This is our first Super Bowl Party ever. Bob (Dee) had put a pool together so we put our $5 in and just like our luck, we never won anything. The game was exciting to the end with most of us rooting for Arizona and heckling Bob (Dee) as he was for Pittsburg all the way. My appetizer (Spinach Balls) was a hit - thanks, Bonnie. There was a lot of food and John and I ate too much of food that we ordinarily don't eat.
We got home and chilled for a while before packing it off to bed.
