Rainy day

Before the rain came in, we went into Quartzsite to RV Lifestyles to see about getting a price for sun shades. Even with dual pane windows, when the sun is beating in, our rig gets quite warm. We were sent to J & S Covers and got a square foot price. A gentlemen we met at J & S Covers was having sun shades installed on his motor home. He said he had them on his fifth wheel and loved them. He said they helped not only in the summer but kept the heat in during the winter. He even invited us to step into his motor home to look out his windows that had been covered. We got home and measured windows and did the calculations to come up with a rough price. The owner will be out on Friday to give us an actual price. If we proceed, we will have to extend our stay for a week while the sun shades are made.

While having lunch, there was a thunderstorm warming that came across the TV. It wasn't for our area but the sky did look ominous. Soon the temperature dropped and the rain came in. Guess it was time for a nap! I thought we were in the sunny Arizona desert????

With the rain, it was a perfect time for soup and grilled cheese sandwiches for dinner. Then a little TV. Hopefully, the nap won't keep us awake tonight.
