This morning we saw Rick and Y hitch up and drive off as they head to Texas for a while to spend time with their family. Safe travels you two.
In good RVing tradition, us four Excel couples met at Chili's last night for a goodbye dinner:
Starting at the bottom left corner: Ralph, Cheryl, Terri, John, Y, Rick, John and Janie. Good conversation, good food, and lots of laughter was shared.
A local dive/restaurant called Tiny's was having a special St. Patrick's Day celebration of Corned Beef and Cabbage. Ralph, Cheryl, John, and Janie along with another Excel couple, Bill and Char, went to dinner at Tiny's. John and I had been invited to join them for dinner but we declined. We did, however, partake in their good company while sitting outside of John and Janie's trailer. It was almost 9 p.m. when we called it quits as it was getting chilly. When we got home, I looked at the outside temperature and it was only 72 degrees - hard to believe that 72 degrees could feel chilly isn't it?
