While I spent the day doing laundry, John was out and about trying to get some wildlife pictures. Here is what he found:

A cute cottontail

So far the wildlife sightings have not been abundant.

I took this picture of a little prickly Chain Fruit Cholla (choy-ah) cactus that is growing at the rear of our site. We have been warned not to get too close to these little things as they are also known as the jumping cactus. I suspect this little cactus won't be getting much bigger.
