Being all settled in here in Tucson there isn't a whole lot to write about. John finished up the washing and re-caulking of the trailer on Saturday and on Sunday I lent a hand to help wax our home up pretty. Boy, do we shine nice! John was a very tired pup Sunday night what with all his up and down a ladder for three days.
We got good news from my follow-up throat scope (EGD) as everything looks perfectly normal this go round. Last year, my esophagus looked like raw meat to put it bluntly. My acid reflux medication has done its healing job and it so nice not to deal with reflux. I had put off getting checked out for years because of fear (silly me) of the procedure; there was nothing to fear. Learned that esophageal cancer can start with esophageal erosion - get yourself checked out if acid reflux is a problem for you; please.
On Wednesday, we went with Bruce, Jenna, Rick, and Y over to Lazydays RV to check out their Redwood Fifth Wheels. As previously stated, we aren't in the market for another rig but we do like looking at the different floor plans and such. After a few hours of the guys looking in and under the rigs and the women checking out the interiors and such, we called it a day with the consensus that Redwoods just aren't full-time living RV's. The six of us then stopped at Los Nopales for a nice dinner and more good conversation.
Also on Wednesday, John's friend, Clyde, let us know that his wife, Barbara, passed away on Sunday after a battle with cancer. We are at a loss of words to properly convey our sadness over the news. Our thoughts are with you Clyde and we are only a phone call away any time of day or night.

As the rig was sitting there looking so nice and shiny, we felt bad that the truck looked so dirty so we washed and waxed it on Saturday! Guess what, it rained last night and early this morning. Oh well, the desert needs the rain. By mid-week, we will be back in the 70+ temperatures. Gotta love it.
Until next time . . .
