Rainy day

Just as the weather people projected, we woke up to rain today. As we had invited Melissa over for dinner, after breakfast, I got to making one of her favorite meals -red chili. This dish is served much like a tostada except on a warm tortilla. I also made an apple tart for dessert. Dinner was enjoyed by all. Melissa took home the leftovers--she was much appreciative.

Melissa reminded us that today is the longest day of the year. Yahoo! That means, days will only start to get longer . . . bring it on!
